Emily High, who disappeared out of Chambersburg, PA on May 15, was unharmed, while Jaret Wright was taken into custody, upon being located in Purceville, VA, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Jaret, whose real name is Jaret John Wright, hails from Florida and allegedly met Emily on Instagram, PSP said on Friday, May 19.

Originally, Daily Voice was told by the family and friends of the family that the missing Chambersburg girl had disappeared from Scotland Road in Chambersburg, PA sometime overnight on Monday, May 15, 2023.

Jaret had allegedly been with an uncle in Ohio, but was kicked out. That's when he met Emily and headed to Chambersburg, Daily Voice was told. He was found hiding in her closet and kicked out of the home the night before Emily went missing.

"This is not currently a kidnapping investigation but he is facing charges in reference to her running away," PSP Trooper Megan Frazer told Daily Voice.

He was convicted of "Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity Oriented Material or Performance Sexual Motivation" and the victim was a 15-year-old girl he met on SnapChat, according to Yost and the registry.

He is not known to have a driver's license so the pair are believed to be on foot, the family friends told us.

Emily is approximately 5'2" tall and weighs around 90 lbs, Pennsylvania State Police say. Her family adds that she might be wearing a fake nose ring.
